KDL Group Appoints Ji Yoon as Chief Financial Officer
KDL Group of Companies is pleased to announce the appointment of Ji Yoon as Chief Financial Officer. Ji will be responsible for finance, accounting, legal, tax, corporate communications and information technology. As a senior member of the executive team, Ji reports directly to CEO Ben Hoy.
Ji will play a key role in leading our company’s continued growth strategy. As CFO, his progressive leadership experience and in-depth expertise in finance, accounting and capital funding will aid our company in achieving our growth and competitiveness objectives.

Ji has more than 20 years of financial management experience in finance, accounting, tax, treasury, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions and ERP implementations. Previously, Ji served as CFO and IT lead for On Side Restoration, Canada’s largest privately held restoration company, where he was involved with increasing revenues and footprint across Canada two fold in under 4 years. Prior to On Side, Ji was head of Finance at Sea Star Solutions, formerly known as Teleflex Canada, responsible for the overall financial strategy including cost management, capital allocation and balance sheet optimization. Prior to Sea Star, Ji worked with Taiga Building Products as Corporate Controller and later as CFO for a publicly listed company with revenues in excess of $1B.
Ji holds his CPA, CMA, FCMA, and C.Dir designations. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Business Diploma (Honours) from Lambton College of Applied Arts and Technology in Sarnia, Ontario and an MBA from Queen’s University, Ontario. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and served on the adjudicating board of the Certified Management Accountants Strategic Leadership Program. In addition, he holds his FCMA and Chartered Director designations. Ji will work out of his Burnaby office and will be in each of the KDL Group’s Divisions on a regular basis.
